Here you are
again, my friend--
a constancy of strange.

cold-clutch grip
of fingertip
the servant
of a masochist
clawing at
the cage of rib
inside out
and outside in

Chisel-freedom

from these walls

hammer-chip

the sweet downfall

of this--
the very least of which
is grace
that it
just stays
the same...

Why this courtship
of the light?
Every sundown
dance the fight
battling
the concrete me
knowing
no one
lives, who kills...

"Why this courtship
of the light?"

There are so many facets to be seen in the light...yours are beautiful and real and complicated.
