As skies melt in honey colored slope
Into chambers of our inner lives
It is there my heart paints

Love an active verb
Beating on, texturing the walls
Summoning the strokes of fine brushes

Knowing you, here to be the sun
The rivers run cool and blue
As our eyes speak and our bodies hear

And all illusions shed as clothes
For I become more beautiful in your sight
Never pierced or muddied in the rain

Slipped between the waterfalls of purple passion
Scripting butterflies upon my breast
As your vision moves them trembling to the grass

And you, the pledge of virile and vigor
My arms feast happily around you
Bathing me in your scent and brilliance

Each water-colored sigh contains our truest essence
Spilling over banked content and splendor
We rise, the secret senders that invite the light to day
