They live to nuture, defend a brood life a constant search for food; in the realm of the perennial grassy plain with canine teeth, no longer the same... Remember an Eskimo woman left to her own devices soon aged, a once transporter of exotic spices decrepit, she sits still on frozen ice... teeth unable to grasp leather as a vice.. Those teeth once used to nip at the hide gave an elder an added sense of pride; a purpose or reason to fight the element that surrounded arctic ice floe scents. On the savannah, the tigress breeds and basks goes about her daily parental tasks; and feeds a cub until the age of two unless one's not carted off to a zoo... A tigress dies in the brush from inflicted wounds tallied her hunt based on the season's monsoon; her old human cousin also reached a determined end with teeth now gone, what more life was there to spend © Copyright 2004 ecrivan |

I like the mirror of this, Ecrivan. I sense the two of them, peering within the silvered face, and seeing beyond. A good write. Very good. |

Another creative write from your illustrious pen, Dear Wizard of Words! Your images were so powerful that I could envision them in my mind's eye. EA |
