She lives in me much more than what can die
in fleeting dreams. Her memory long past
long term pruned by never. Still always my
love.  Then we burned in bright crimson contrast.

What was it she wore?  I need not recall
specifically.  Perhaps in creation
even, her descent was holy.  The wall
of wailing held no more admiration.

And when she approached all sensation left
save that which would surrender to her near
and drowning eyes.  And although now bereft
I would not change one thing on this great sphere.

To have this vision far outweighs the price.
In place of her this anguish will suffice.

such a powerful sense of longing....this stirred me, and the poem in whole moved me...

I hear your voice and suddenly
I'm falling, lost in a dream

*sigh* You pulled from a deep well when you let this flow of love surface. To be remembered like this...*sigh*

Blazey -- um... I don't think anything can come from that far down... things are pretty silent there.

enjoyed this... though I can see why it might not be a favorite to you, it does speak well to the heart and the idea that it is better to have loved and lost than not loved at all..

nicely done sir

In fleeting dreams, there is much that lives...some memories good, some sad but all
making us who we are.
Enjoyed your words, LR
