As you come through the door, you see me
sleeping on the couch, waiting for you
I awaken as you reach over to kiss me
wondering if this is a dream, or really true

Then I open my eyes and looking deeply
into your eyes, I know that it is true
For I can see deep into them all your love
shining clearly and brilliantly through

I see love like I have never known before
shining clearly through the eyes of you
Knowing that as you look down into my eyes
you see my love shining back at you, too

As our love is all aglow, we know
this is not a dream, but passionately true
Who could ever doubt, with love such as ours
you for me, me for you, true love between us two

Ethel~

Can I hope it's more than a visit???

as long as you are happy...that's is all that counts.

Nothing more beautiful than mutual love-your life sounds wonderful.  I enjoyed your up-lifting poem.

The sound of silence calls,
I hear your voice and suddenly
I'm falling, lost in a dream
