Little Woman

he had authority
he exercised it on her
she 15
he 40

he crushed her virgin dreams

a business that never breaks even.

Softly spoken and hard hitting.
Very well done...and a sad state of affairs.

that's just sad and sickening

I guess this one hits hard because I have a 15 year old daughter...16 this month, but still just a child...not a woman

this hits hard at home. well in my heart anyway, the first to take away from me was one who was suppose to be a dad. then another and another and another. i survived what was taken from me, then when i let love in, i opened up, only to have all used against me, so he can stand tall, while his drugs and alcohal, use me for his fall. love your writings.  thanks

I totally agree with Passing Shadows' comment as I have a daughter, too!

Good write and truthfully sad...wanted to see more though...but in it's simplicity it said enough...
