Awakening

I am not content
in the waiting

I hunger for
so much more
patience is not
a silken word
eaten eloquently
my lips were
teased with touch
feathery electricity
awakening something
deeply forgotten
and with that taste
rescued from dust
hours I have
spent in hesitation
leaving me paused
stopped in the holding
on a lingering edge
but there are needs
that tear at me
and my heart
must move to follow
a sweeter craving
of this appetite

"i wish your room had room for two" John Mayer

superbly written...i truly understand

oh, my, and the agony of an awakening that must return to slumber, is profound

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Lovely...very lovely

Now this is something I completely understand!  Well done!
