Light as Air

There is a tear that holds
the fear of spill
Its weight is that of a robin
  light as air
The content of its emptyness
is more powerful than the knife that
pierces the skin
Inside somewhere it must matter
ice is still water
constant even in a state of change
I am too weary to rest
The tear must eventually fall
and the robin will fly fluttering her wings
I have only the hope that
nature will carry me..

Such sweet sadness shows the heart in full and benevolent wide open.
Fear not, for nature carries her own.

"The fear of spill"

I think we all have this inside us.
You depict emotion so well in this write.
I loved the imagery!

Wonderful read!

I'm with Marge....These two opening lines are very touching..."There is a tear that holds
the fear of spill"
Your heart will soar in repair because it's simply made that way.
