Being feminine, sophisticated, deep inside my mind you're the real beyond my whims the blessing of my seasoned time. Yet every time you're gone, not very often, you call faithfully, your familiar voice stirs my captured feelings. You sound lonely, insecure, coaxing me to speak words of meaning that bridge our hearts together. I assure you, without ever having to say so, though I do! my love for you will never die. I hear you laugh at my boyishness. I laugh at myself, because I've never been able to control how I still act treasuring those tender moments, escaping back to innocence to that place in our love, where recognition of our faithful need for each other is our existence! copyrighteltrue@E3B1G9/2001/Roach&Morris Inc. There is such a joy of "easy" friendship and love to this--you've described a bonding of the soul most beautifully Eric. Loved this. |

"I hear you laugh at my boyishness. I laugh at myself, because I've never been able to control how I still act" i think the sound of laughter is sweeter than music, love should be about laughter, very nice |

Hello ethome. Love the title...loved the words. Very pleased to see you are from Canada too. I am from Ontario. Been in the States for 5 years now...but I still call The North home. Wonderful poem. Glad I popped in to read it. Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history! |

Way to go, Eric! This poem is incredible for the message it conveys. I hope she keeps a copy on her desk, in her purse, and in her suitcase. These are words she'll always love. |
