my bitter reflection, too late i wonder about your morning reflection ... did you see the double face the two sides of your mouth speaking from one side of your hand blah blah blah.... did you believe that i was handing you a cup of me simply for the stroking of your ego does your coffee taste as bitter as i see tomorrow ? ©snow'04 "yet each man kills the thing he loves by each let this be heard, some do it with a bitter look, some with a flattering word" oscar wilde |

Hello Snow...long time no hear. Mmm this is a very thought provoking piece. The graphic is such a twisted image...and yet it blends with the words nicely. A reflection of self? A reflection of thought? Both in my eyes! Reminds me of my own artwork. As for the words. Oh yes I love them. They reach out, grab a person, and give them a good shaking. The reference to bitter coffee is perfect. Words that not only relate to an image, but a sensation such as touch or taste are truly what makes for great poetry. Well done my friend. My rating! A++ Your buddy - Kevin. Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history! |
