Timbre

From the limber of the grass
Lies the timbre of its brass
As vital as a lovely poem
As subtle as an epitome

Each menu has a sounding rhyme
Structured in our changing time
A symphony of mellow store
That lives within its very core

Each form is granted in its need
The cry of life within its seed
It rides the back of echoes call
No matter be it big or small

Its music is a vital strain
Sound and soundless as the rain
A myriad of the all that is
Even what are hers and his?

So listen to the song of birth
It is the very song of earth.

Windsong in the grass
Winking eyes of lad and lass
Sing to us once more

Oh what a lovely Monday morning write Sy!
A beautiful way to start the week.
Would you like a cup of tea with a little lemon?
My throat is a little sore and it may help.
~Morning hugs & tea, Nancy~

~The breeze that kissed you on the face,

Lovely Seymour. A poem to put some brightness into this rainy Ontario morning. Hugs, Chris

Sunshine
You shine brightly today.

Nancy,
We will have tea and I will offer sympathy.

Martie,
You are a dear.

Chris,
Maybe a hug will warm it up.

Can a tardy moth tell you that your rhymes rock??

I was giddy by the first verse...
How do you stay so cool living near the equator?? *L*
