 this is a bit of whimsy silliness (that has some basis in truth) but overall is just me being playful....(been lookin' at all those purdy valentines cards at the shops) --------------------------------------- Valentine C.O.D. ------------------- He long since died in lost love letters, fading poloroids, and the drowning distances of oceans too vast for this simple vessel to navigate. Store bought wishing and weeping stalks of uprooted flowers dont seem enough to bring back together two hearts turned away from walking with blinders on. I'd pay the sirens to sing him back to the rocks but my mastercard's expired. All I got though is breath left in my body (that I dont really own), a little bit of laughter (needs the dust blown off), and of course memories, (that I already share). Gotta get a gimmick, snappy jingle to entice him to pick up the phone and call before stocks run out. Ah, but anyways who buys used valentines these days? |

Yeah, I buy used valentine cards all the time. Have you seen how much they want lately for a dozen long stemmed, store bought wishing and weeping stalks of uprooted flowers... Gasp! Seriously, I hope none of the fellah's here buy, instead of write their own valentines... lol This was great Dawn! And I hope you have a great Valentines Day! Richy |
