Twin Demons

Twin demons take my ship afoul
With lightening and their thunders howl
They stir the sea to dark abode
That leaves the taste of fears erode.

They sneak into my minds retire
Dressed in wool of sheep attire
Dig into my well of dwell
And send me into fires hell

I fight them with the light of learn
The white that holds all colors turn
The gyro of the sage of age
The salve of green of life’s engage

The battle is a loosing one
For they go on when I am done
And even stone cannot forestall
The wearing of the weather all

They stay within the human clime
They are the demons change and time.

Thank goodness you filled us in on those demons!   Yes, I suppose time and time can be demons, but so can they be the other, especially through select memories.   I enjoyed your poem, Sy.  Take care.

Oh Sy...
either Randy has a clone, and needs to
be returned to his cave,
or he's fighting alongside you, and these
demons you shall enslave...

Either way, the write is right,
and follow fancy into the night...

keep it up, our good poet Sy...
you've tilted bigger wheels in the sky...

Sy ... I think many of us here can relate to this poem. Change is supposed to help us grow and sadly for most, we cannot stop time. These are two demons I really dislike!!!

Thank you for sharing.
