By the Sword of Myles Standish Or was it Captain John Smith? And so… The hours hold a blank stare… Biting off bits of eastern horizon Implosion wears a baseball cap Lined with slabs of concrete Adhering to daily routines What was spoken on telephone lines Pondering directives, From sinister historians Diligent scribes interrupting Coffee plantations rap a lagoon Like a songbird’s ultra resistance To creatures of dimness Absorbing and rendered 108 settlers Rummaging through roots Grouping together thinking inside Indentured servants to times precedent Grain of consciousness A thing staying alive Invigorating bones of lined pockets Teachers with the painter’s eyes Rumors of details having no sense of hearing Struggling into the cloths of falsifications Historical myths…?
