By the Sword of Myles Standish
Or was it Captain John Smith?

And so…
The hours hold a blank stare…
Biting off bits of eastern horizon
Implosion wears a baseball cap
Lined with slabs of concrete
Adhering to daily routines
What was spoken on telephone lines
Pondering directives,
From sinister historians
Diligent scribes interrupting

Coffee plantations rap a lagoon
Like a songbird’s ultra resistance
To creatures of dimness
Absorbing and rendered
108 settlers
Rummaging through roots
Grouping together thinking inside
Indentured servants to times precedent

Grain of consciousness
A thing staying alive
Invigorating bones of lined pockets
Teachers with the painter’s eyes
Rumors of details having no sense of hearing
Struggling into the cloths of falsifications
Historical myths…?
Jamestown or Plymouth?
