Can I decry the wayward steps of a core belief or how a person stumbles when foundations rock and crush the last remains of an idealistic dream perceived as being attached to this reality? No, I can’t, for too I see how fragile is a rose how it wilts and withers when deprived of the rain, and then must fall to ground, used, abused, and disowned, no longer in the memory of lovers, husbands, wives. But a single rose can testify to an inner strength when on the edge teetering in a howling gale or prematurely cut from its only source of life and placed as adornment in an airless home. The rose of soul – how great thou art to not ever fade or suffer pain of death from the last exhale of air bound and tied immortally to the essence of true love sent into the atmosphere as a lesson for mankind. Don’t cut a rose haphazardly for thorns lie there beside or infiltrate a dream without honourable intent for strength to overcome and perceive the truth of one will one day rise up like steam bubbles from the earth. In that steam there will be the hurt of past misdeeds and the pain of waking up from a beautiful dream and the knowledge thereof will peel your flesh away and leave exposed to the heat the properties of mind. Burnt, singed, and peeled, is that how we must be before we can ask to sup with the free? Helen |

I'm sorry to say this but my roses of the heart must have taken commando courses They takes winds of 30 mile gusts, and all I do is feed them a mixture of bone, blood and slow dispensed minerals and leave the rose in peace to find it's own way Dave |

Thanks, Midnitesun. I aim to nourish inner strength - not today though. Well, Dave, I'm a-thinking dispensed minerals with a little additive might help. These days, however, that would just put me to sleep but that's not such a bad thing really because I don't have bad dreams. Not yet at any rate. |
