One minute before curfew, how things flew
when spinning beams split right  through!

                      Beam me up, Scottie
                          Gotta go!
                              Hurry Scottie-
                                 The routine you know!

Watching the clock another night
Descending from the window, while taking flight
Do you think they’ll notice absence?
Nah?  You mean Yes?  Whoops!

                       Dew beam me up Scottie
                         Beam me up now
And promise with whom I’m out
                            You’ll never tell!

A few years after curfew
Still dependently I call
When racing to work
To punch ole time card.

                           Beam me up old friend.
Surely, you’ve not lost your zip!
                                 Faster Buddy!  Scottie,  did you
                                      Put me on hold?

                       Scotty?   Scotty?

I just had to write this in fun.  My job is exactly 37 minutes away.  I know every minute and if I'm behind a minute...well you know the story.   I bet you've called out to Scottie, too!

On guy in a court in London did

The judge said to him "do you have anything to say" and he took out a packet of cigarettes and speaking into  them said "beam me up Scotty".

iliana,
Yes.  Perhaps, I should double the vicodin, but that ran into problems last time, so I'll compromise!  Man, I really "compromised" when I wrote this!  My brain just refuses to be creative and it's not doing well at serious.  I just need to lighten up and rest, but I'm too restless to rest.  Now that's a catch 22!  Now that I think about it, that theme might work!  An ah-ha moment!

Paul,
How good of you to relate!  I like your humor.
Have a good weekend.
                  Sadie
