(Here's a song I just wrote that my teacher and others think could be on the radio if ever heard! I'm submitting this into a college radio station in hope it gets played, yay! )

Bead Curtain
By: Noah Eaton
3/17/04

(riff 1: repeated through verse)

Sunshine breeze came skimmin',
through my bead curtain,
she shook her hips like a smudge stick,
runnin' through her thesaurus of flirtin',
she wore a calico halter top,
Birkenstocks and flowers in her gypsy hair,
her topaz eyes boiling like a lava lamp,
burning neroli into the air...

(riff 2: repeated through chorus)

Ooooooohhhh...
look who just walked in,
through the bead curtain,
come dive into my mystic world,
you luna tuna,
coo-ca-choo...

(solo 1)

Sugar daydream came swayin',
with the birds and the bees,
she's like the lava pouring into Pompeii,
chinese rain, egyptian sunshine, indian curry,
she wears the Van Allen belt,
like an extension cord around her waist,
plugging me into her heart,
here she comes makin' headway...

(riff 1: repeated through chorus)

She says,
"Is this good enough for you?"
I say,
"I've uncovered the tomb of the groove,
and you're its ashram!"
Next up is the Pleiades,
coo-ca-choo...

(solo 2)

(riff 3: repeated)

Skip into the cosmic window,
destination blue rose of the skies,
to infinity and beyond...

Roll your honey canoe,
into the crystal dragon's eyes,
ride the pearl seahorse,
jettison into your intergalactic mind...

(riff 4: repeated)

You harnass the good spirits
(love those jingle bell anklets)
You enhance my room's energy
(love diggin' your scene)
You slow down the movement of the chi
(love your love beads)
You show me Cassiopia in the daylight
(love holding you under the strobelight)
You are my gypsy princess
(your heart's the Pakua)
You are my north, south, east and west
(you're the morning glory and night jasmine)
Your eyes spin like a pinwheel
(you're my favorite optical illusion)
You're the seal of every deal
(you're my cosmic obsession)

(riff 3: repeated to end)

Patchouli butterfly,
came flutterin' through my bead curtain,
yeah!

She shows me the stars
the moon,
morning sunshine,
dancing bears,
behind the bead curtain...

(closure solo)

Wooooo!

"You'll find something that's enough to keep you
But if the bright lights don't receive you
You should turn yourself around and come back home" MB20

Noah, I agree it is good enough to be played. Great job and good luck.
