On the castle I drum my drum A swirling wind In the skies Hears my drum I watch the world To know my drum And a new born king His army at his side I pray each day my life To see the next Now my drum sounds No longer long I hear my lord Call To make a song To spare his life And my drum beats Heating the skin To protect me From within I pray each night My notes will beat A drum Of awakeness Not retreat To hear a new king Ta rat tat dum I drum my drum To see a new born king Ta rat tat dum |
