Our minds have been corrupted
Our sanity disrupted
this sensation we call education
has brain washed the nation
with ideas they want us to hear
lies they want believed
false justice and liberty
is really money and greed
What are we fighting for?
to quench their thirst for war?
there are soldiers in Iraq
who are never comming back
who's intentions were spoiled
fighting not for freedom but for oil
the charge of weapons of mass destruction--
by our president constructed
is on the verge of destruction
cuz they seem to not exist
yet they persist
and go on with this claim
they abolished a dictators reign
and caught Saddam Hussein
thinkin our questions would Go away
But still i Stand her today
not afraid to say
YOu accused them of weapons
so Where they hell are they?

Clearing the world of Dictators seems to be by choice.

Are they small enough not to be able to fight back, then invade.

If they are too big, then make them allies.

In the same way that the British invented the concentration camp in South Africa during wars years ago, and again to a degree in Malaya during the emergency, so the CIA is considered to have invented killing unarmed civilians who had no contact with the fighting, in South America.

It was an ex CIA guy who came up with that one.

Layla
Good question..I don't have the answer, have stopped looking for it....There is much more at stake here than oil and it will take a miracle worker to get us out of this mess..
I am glad to see your feelings written down, I guess mainly because we are in basic alignment..

Ahh sweet politics...Good to hear you making your voice heard.I'd like to hear something other than doubletalk as some answers too.

Yes, some believable answers would be nice. But of course, politicians will always attempt to redirect you to new questions, ones which take the heat away from their rear ends and ignite some othere 'non'issue'.

personally I don't like war and politics...so I try not to get involved...it's like a no-win situation

Mom used to say "choose your battles wisely" and then she'd recite the Serenity Prayer

I admit though
I have asked the same question

strong write here

(big angel hugs) Well other than knowing there ARE NO WMD's, even if they magically popped out somewhere (a.k.a politicians just planting them there for political gain) war is never the answer, and if they think terrorism has come to an end, they're only multiplying the problems and hatred and anger and lies in the world! (sad sigh) Half this nation is brainwashed by the Administration's brutal rhetoric and it is time for a new leadership, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
