Lonesome brother, son of soul Miles between and further still Lies the tie that binds our heart In twain to one…mind…one…life Coursing fears like willowed rains Meet in darkness, flee in vain Conjure up the boogey-man Shooed away by heart-beat’s song Echoing healing, wings of balm Touching deep within, Softly lulling, soothing worry Razing shadows, raising hopes Calming life to live again When miles are gone, we’ll meet again |

As I read you, my heart saw images of twins separated at birth...I have no idea why that came to me...but the severing of family, for whatever reason is especially hard on the children. Good write...many different roads to explore here. TD |
