He waits inside, the quiet thing so subtle as he weaves his dream his paintbrush soft, a loving thing paints wicked strokes, of empty things He never shows his face to me yet never hides from what you see as usual, I'm the last to know exactly how far he will go It comes to me, a memories glimpse in photo flash, of things done since the last time I gave into whims the last time I gave into him He grabs control, when I am weak I never hear him act or speak my darkling never gives a peek though I know anger makes me weak So if I hurt you, was it me? or was it him setting you free? I never trust my darkling, how? he'd sell me out for peanuts now |

Oh my goodness! This is a keeper. Do you mind if I keep it in my library? Sadelite |

this sounds like an apology of sorts... and if it is, then i liked the way you approached it. very enjoyable read |

(big hugggsssssss) This is so very heartfelt, sweet friend, I certainly hope the apology was accepted as you have a heart that can feel and is open to all! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jason, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "You'll find something that's enough to keep you |

It takes courage to face our darkling...and much trust to blend his might within our own velvet glove. TD |

Good poem. Sounds like you're getting him under control. |
