What do I do when it's almost two? paint the town in blue suede shoes faint on the doorstep of a close friend say I'll never leave you till the very end? What do I do when it's three? mint coinage on a currency spree print a collection of hockey cards or fill my gut with chicken lard.. But I can enjoy myself from two to three extend that thrill through the day, ya see I yearn to live the American fast food way to support the corporate glut mainstay.... Years pass and still I plan for tomorrow to plow the fields and bury my sorrow... I learned to tell the time from the early grades but never learned to think for myself, I'm afraid... |

Writing a little at 2 am? I know about that, all sweet and sour. |

Martin, this is a good poem that I found back here on these back pages. Back for another round. Hugs Ethel |
