I sing in the morning
“with hi and go derry”
I dance neath the moon
with the woods as my home
All I survey,
I am lord of and merry
My kingdom is treetops -
I choose not to roam

Born in the morning
“with hi and go derry”
I name all the creatures
and call them on down
I know of each planting
of root nut and berry
My cap bears a feather
my head wears a crown

I live in my barrow
“with hi and go derry”
My forest dominion
is all I desire
I've named all the creatures
the elf, dwarf and faerie
At night time my comfort
is given by fire

I dance through this midland
“with hi and go derry”
My coming and going
is never quite done
In majesty born
to the green of this scenery
I stay till the kingdom
of mankind is won

I'm Tom of the morning
“with hi and go derry”
I'll dance through the world
till the last age has come
Then with the halflings
I'll ride on the ferry
To take us e'er onward
right up to  the sun.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Keth beloved one I can only say wow, this is truly spectacular writing, absolutely outstandingly beautifully presented and truly a song JRR would have been proud to call his own. Why is it, do you think, that whenever there is great writing here it has your name appended to it? Is it that you have unquestionable quality, is it that when you form a piece it is so totally complete so wonderful that all else pales into insignificance? Whatever the reason your writing ensures that this place will always be worth a visit, if only to read your sparkling gems of wonder. You do know I love this don’t you? Good, I really and truly do, it is splendiferous in the extreme.

Love you always
and forever

This is capturing the more light hearted moments of Tolkien's requiem...very, very enchanting, Kethry!
