Exploring vastness of character
Skeletons of man with barren stares
Choosing to look elsewhere
Stripped naked
Skin’s blanket procuring air fair
I’ve wondered why shock waves fear nerve?

My third eye clawing for some far off awning
When sea yellowed sponge grows dry
Murky old performers start ebbing
And to where they hide

While we’re mopping up crumbs
To the screams of “who moved my cheese?”
And will we find more?
Lost in their maze with a nosebleed!

They’ve clipped our nails down to the flesh
Talisman lay flopping like a waterless fish
Deafening drum, spitting profanity through my screen
Tokens thrown from a 3rd world balcony
In another theater, in another town…
Propaganda cultures tied tongues
Their curtain call pledges shadows elite
Oil slick toxins in offshore retreats

Remembering membranes of fiber, lodging close
Calling life what it is
Paths openly speak Christian names
Allotting admission money, to well known places

Sitting at a round table of trusted knights
Horse’s armor immortalize frozen sighs
There is a rock scratching at our windows
Trying desperately to get in
Question is, “Will We Leave It”?
Traveling nomadic pavements, reaching enforcements
Joining viaducts of the world

In tomorrows face of death
Memory searches daylight, waxing the hours
Clocks burn alive
Terms of endearment devour
Commercial images, like an abducted child
Sharing our city with recovering addicts
Common sense no longer cries
We disinfect our fear based profiteering
With java greeting cards come alive

(big angel hugs) Everytime I hear "Department of Homeland Security", I always say in my head, "What, don't make me laugh!". "Department of Homeland Stupidity" is more like it! LOL! (smiles) At least in my mind a so-called intelligence wouldn't be so intelligent if they're always hesitating to filter the news like skimed milk and be ashamed to give the whole unabridged story to the people, instead we're all just living many big lies, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lee, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Lee,

You are so well versed in language that I don't know if I understood the magnitude of this write.  I had to read it very slowly to allow the images to fly at me like boulders.  What I did understand left me in awe of how you brilliantly used your wording and imagery to leave me with swirling impressions.   This is very powerful.
