~This beautiful scenic photo was taken by Jon Allen,
husband of our member poetess, SEA~
I was inspired to write of this view through Jon's thoughts and eyes
It was taken at Banner Ridge in Lowman, Idaho.

*Thank you, Jon, for allowing my words to traipse across your photography*

"knowing that on any given day
the hunter could easily
become the prey"
I love the lucid effect that this piece has on the poem.  Its oh so true I just never really thought about it before.  What a wonderful write!!  Thankyou

Dear Marge: The photo is gorgeous and of course, your poem puts a whole new slant on it. Very true also!

Dear Marge,
As a hunter myself, I salute you for bringing
such things into perspective. Some would say that hunting is simply killing, others, like myself, would say that it is all part of a natural cycle. If this offends anyone, I will not apologise for my beliefs, anymore than they will apologise for theirs. I enjoy nature, and, all that it has to offer. At the moment of kill, I am totally at peace with my decision, and with myself. Suffering
,on the other hand, is better left up to the politicians, those all-knowing, cow-towing,
corporate lackeys that are steadfastly trying to do away with everything that we , as a people hold dear. But enough, thanks for your forebearance. Marge you're a sweetie.
