Look deep inside me
Carefully glance as part of me flees
Touch where life runs away
Sensing stray energy dribbles
Lost flesh just thought it was a nibble
But looking deep I see a mess
Lost oh so much but none was flesh
Instead was life and spirit bent
On hearing yes but then was sent to find some sun
T’was under the tree
We ran so fast but stayed so still
Clinging to sounds that all ran uphill
Emptying selves but still overfull
Oh so much lies in the depths
Mind and heart thinking of sharing this view
Wishing for someone who was willing to see
To hear to share willing to find the time
To experience the bold and even sublime
This is a wish from the depths of a soul
But still wondering if I can let go

thanks Martie - it does make for good poetry - often it is hard to find and to understand and then sometimes it is soooo personal - appreciate your comments always - Paul

It really does help to write it out Paul...
This one expecially comes from somewhere deep inside.

"We ran so fast but stayed so still"
I loved this line, I think it bought it all together.  People often feel this way in life, I know I certainly have.  Another wonderful read Paul.  I thoroughly enjoyed it, can't wait to see more!!
