I tossed the coins into the fountain,
wishing the ripples would cast a spell.
I was not disappointed,
for your gaze became fixed intently
upon this wishing well.
The ripples seemed to travel an eternity
while I waited patiently.
I was anxious, yet I understood
time and space travel independently
at their own rates, not always parallel to mine.

The wait was not in vain.

Those ripples reached the shores of your heart,
and I now rest upon a sea of tranquility.
And once again nature has reminded me
a calm nearly always follows a storm.

OhKacy~
I was sitting here deep in wishing thought ...
when I felt poetic ripples coming my way~

We are all richer by far with the tossed coins from your heart~

Lovely dearest poetess~

Marge, thank you so much for that beautiful reply!

And Mish, yes, I never go wrong when I relax and let nature take her course. It's when I fight back that I get into trouble. LOL. Thanks for reading.

Hey Nancy, thanks! sometimes even two weeks  are an eternity. Yes, I am back in Alaska, and surrounded by majestic snow capped mountains, where eagles fly freely.

You can say that again,so glad I can share the calm with you...

Live like it's your last day...
Dance like nobody's watching...
Love like you've never been hurt...
