standing on a shadow's lace

If I Push Will You Pull

there have been
some reflections
in my eyes
some that were
just in passing
some that pooled me
they have all
changed me in
some way or another
I wonder if there
is true safety in eyes
or is it I cross the lines
and see the same flaws
in the ones I love
as I do myself
in chasing them
as I chase off myself
