Was Silence The Easiest Way Your deaf ears to my longing Is both baffling and confusing Did you intend to shut me out Perhaps you found it amusing Are you too gutless to explain By covering truth in apologies You are expert at being silent Is your aim to constantly tease As yesterdays broken dreams Become shattered everywhere I wish I could find the off switch To ease my heart from despair Was this your way of departing Silence being the easiest way After all we have been through Are you left with no more to say When distance was never to far I will hold forever in my memory I hope that there will come a day When you find time to think of me Hope©2004 |

guess some are afraid of confrontation if they talk? And some maybe feel guildty about what they've done, and some are just thoughtless...or actually believe what they are doing is right...either way, Hope, your a winner...beautiful, talented and full of life...your writes are awesome...thank you for sharing. |

sometimes silence is the way me and "mine" are not speaking...maybe it's because I told him not to call me, for anything, and if he needed something concerning work, to have a supervisor let me know. It hurts, but I think it's best. |
