The road of life’s well camouflaged, so hard to find the way And harder for the victims who get lost in it each day We wake and it looks similar to what the past did show No North, no South, no East or West, no signs of where to go So often we feel oh so lost and pray to whom might hear Hoping that within our soul we find what fuels the fear And even though we know within the fears are what we’ve grown We turn life’s joy infertile and then find ourselves alone Too short the days that turn to years and long each past regret Within we have the strength to change, although we don’t forget And though the road of life does change its camouflage each day By holding fast to goals ahead we tend to find our way There’s visions that do guide us and dreams within our head That show us somehow where to go and just which road to tread And though some signs seem hidden and nothing shows the way All of us have drive to spare and dreams to dream each day So tear away the camouflage to see what lies ahead And all the fears that slowly grew will turn to life instead Where prays will all be answered and dreams can all come true The road of life’s well camouflaged, the way is up to you |

Rick, I so love your writes....kinda along the same thinking as so many great men and artists. There is a place upon this plain for each and every person...and we all have our own personal signitures...to dine or starve is our choice....but it's all I believe preplanned and written before we're even born. And, if we fail to see the great purposes in our misdimeaners, then, it's our loss and takes us even longer...believe me I know"..smiles...incredible walking with you again...thank you for the warmth, faith and love in your heart. |
