Self Talking I have a heart, though it is rare that I offer it without needing something in return. A glance, a wink, a smile of warmth or maybe a brush of an arm in passing by... something to make me feel alive. I am a sad story, waiting for the next chapter to be written in realistic terms, where each sequence changes the tide and leaves a taste of you before my eyes and the pain of yesterday on pages past. I've dogeared the best, to reread and hold onto, the sense of you always a fingertip away. I am still "untitled"...the Mrs. faded and not sure I wish to be a Ms. Life spoiled me, kept me believing all these years only to fail me now as I feel like the fifth wheel, waiting to be needed. Not like this though... Where is truth when I want it? What happens when I run out of the glue that holds me together? What about the words? When there are no more and all that is left is silence, how then will my story end? "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

What about the words? When there are no more and all that is left is silence, how then will my story end? methinks the story will never end Maureen for your words are your legacy...Hugs |

Dear sweet lady... do we ever know how the story will end? No so we just muddle along through the chapter we are in and hope the Great Writer will bring a happy ending... Hugs Steve |

Untitled ? Some songs are so beautiful they don’t need a title, and some hearts offer themselves in every word they say; you may be a sad, dog-eared story, but I’m not believing that, I see too much behind the words, to much inside what they say, and I don’t ever see silence as a questionable end . . . only a prelude to the coming epic – and what an epic it’s going to be. jwesley |
