ALover’s Dream In love we spent a blissful day alone, And shared just of ourselves some endless hours. We relished time together seldom known, While freeing moments circumstance devours. We sowed the seeds of love that lovers sow, And tasted fast the meat of passion’s fruit. We walked the peaceful walk that lovers know, Contented in the joy of love’s pursuit. So once again my sweet you’ve given me , A memory forever etched within, A gift of love to comfort endlessly, And soothe my soul when sorrows settle in. I never knew when first my eyes held you, I’d see at last my every dream come true. |
