Walking beside the river in the early morning Watching newborn sunlight dance off ripples like fireworks in the night The water is like many diamonds sparkling Trees sway in the wind, fighting to stay upright. The ripples crash gently against the riverbank Like miniture waves from the sea The water is so clear and hypnotizing As it creeps by so majestically. The wind and trees create a harmonic melody Birds sing and swing to the tone Bushes & butterflies dance vigorously in the breeze While dragonflies and bees buzz on. Creeping thru the thick underbrush Trekking along the river path Kicking off the glistening dew drops That hang like pearls from the grass. Garfield |

ggrn3 -- this was really a beautiful walk -- it was so well done that I felt I was right there with you -- it left me wanting more, it was so good. |
