+*+*+*+*+*+*+* My eyes did see the unthinkable, My body knew the agonies of Hell. My heart feared the uncharted waters, My mind spun as if under spell. Tho' my eyes stung with tears of sadness, Tho' my body did sink into mire. My heart grew strong from adversity, And I rose from Hell's burning fire. My spirits were lifted by angels, I rejoice in being alive. Those trials will soon be behind me, As I begin to heal and thrive. |
