dead dice i grabbed the table edge shaking loose dreams that fell from the fractured facade i blew into my palm lily scented wishes and held my breath while i set them free i stood grounded in my belief that love was for fools and i was no longer a fool till the tips of my fingers released hope dressed in dice and they landed with a t h u d against the walls of my heart and i with my mouth open wide said nothing about the night dice died. ©snow'04 "yet each man kills the thing he loves |

WOW! Of all the things to gamble on... what an analogy. I am deeply impressed... and for the life of me, I heard the T H U D. |
