EXTRA EXTRA read all about it! THE FASCINATION FOR TRUTH STILL CONTINUES! Yes today February 21, 2004 10:20pm pacific standard time A Los Angeles native made a declaration That his search for truth of self and life Continues despite the rainy days of recent. The 23 year-old Lawrence Smalls writes, “When I think I know, it seems like I don’t. And when I don’t know, it seems like it’s right. Gladly I say then I’ll be wrong again And accept this avenue to the truth Because the life I know is but a dream. Yes that’s all it is. A dream that I don’t know Still I fantasize about it And still I am far from it. Reached is only my intuition Instilled upon me through just a bit of learning. I can only narrow it down And take the best possible guess To guess myself between truth and fallacy. In search of truth I WILL stumble upon fallacy. People will confuse me Actions will deceive me Decisions will haunt me And words will be misused. Sure it may seem that way Only for a little while. Wow, that was a stunning piece. It shows how we are influenced by the things that surround us and how we feel guided by those things whether negative or positive that can sometimes sway our perceptions of the truth. Great write!! |
