driving back from dinner with you listening to "like a rolling stone" on some oldies radio station we began to sing the song together at the top of our lungs we were off tune and out of beat we probably looked like fools but it was at that moment i knew i was immortal death, if only for that 6 minutes, had fled out of my life bob dylan and love have a tendency to do that in that moment-- we were a living bruce springsteen song nothing could go wrong we were just two ordinary people in an ordinary world feeling an extraordinary feeling after the song ended we were quiet i think we both knew that any words would crush the moment so i didn't say it at the time but i will say it now if you didn't have a clue girl, i know, that i love you the only people for me are the mad ones-mad to live, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at once--jack kerouac |

"You used to be so amused At Napoleon in rags and the language that he used Go to him now, he calls you, you can't refuse When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose You're invisible now, you got no secrets to conceal." I have also sung this song, enjoyed the poem and it's musical reference _________ice ><> |
