You too often say who I'll never be Well you want so much and I am your chance If you push too hard I'll never be me You know I have dreams and I am my own But you know one thing you I'll never be Juju |

I guess sometimes when someone really cares about you it comes across like they are living their lives through you -- this is what your writing made me think about. |

A complex problem in simple language... very good writing! Grover. |

Amazing, isn't it....the world so simple in ways...covered by humans who are so complex and simple at the same time...And you are right, pushing to mold someone to be someone else will only stifle the true individual that is inside that flesh and skin covered shell... Well said. |

very true indeed. i enjoyed the simple style, i think it was the best way to get your point across. the only people for me are the mad ones-mad to live, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at once--jack kerouac |

Thank you for your replies, but don't get me wrong, Its not about my parents. It's about my peers. If you read closly you can see, it's about some one trying to tell me what I can and can't be. But then again I can see why this poem could be translated to a parental thing. augh. I confuse my self. Juju |
