Stole it, blood red; Didn’t even know how it came into possession, but as ink flows white writing shows, “Stolen from North S. Nails.” Who is Star Nails With her piercing points? Am I the one who impales Using the pen of their writes? Nothing less am I than a merciless thief When stealing things not mine, Spilling their ink, uncomfortable think To have blotted their Polaris rhyme. |

Thanks, Bill. Yes, it is different, but then again, everything I write is a little different. This particular pen was in my hand when I began wondering what to write about. I looked down at it and those were the words written on it! Call me cleptomaniac... [This message has been edited by Sadelite (02-14-2004 11:32 AM).] |

Sadelite Don't worry....they put their names on pens like that as advertisment. I enjoyed this, it gave me a smile. |

I don't know how many times I have walked back to my desk with a "STRANGE" pen held in my hand. Then I wonder where did this come from? Imagine the pen taking over our mind, not your mind, but the owners personality. Wow! What a story we may write. Bon-Bon |

iliana, Ya know, it is a really nice pen--maybe a lucky one! But, you know me, I'll probably return it, but I ought to make it a trip worth the return--you know with gas prices so high! I think I'll attach a silly poem to it and lay it on the counter when no one's looking; then behind some shelves I'll watch the facial expression when the clerk reads it. This could be fun and maybe I'll get a new write from the experience... Who knows? Sadie GG, Shame on you, Girl! Accidently taking a pen from church? Hm. I wouldn't have thought it of you!!! Hey, it's good to see you around the territory again. I miss your writes around here. You are a real sweetie. Take care... Sadie |

I agree with C? *S* With you, that pen gets to create... do you really want to send it back to a boring life of checkbook entries? *G* |

Martie, It is a pretty good advertising gimmick then--I know, I'll never forget the name of the place. What was it now-North Ski Slopes? Thanks for your comment. Glad you were amused... Sadie steavenr, Forbidden fruit is right-what a way to advertise! I think it's only human to want what we can't have-- Enjoyed your comment... Sadie C? Ah, such a sweet comment! But I'd feel guilty if I knowingly didn't give the blasted thing back!!! Don't worry, I might attach a note to it like I told iliana, just to get my kicks! That alone would be worth the honest effort! Sadie |

Don't give up that pen, for I do believe there are a few more creative thoughts stored within, that you need to share... I will sit back and wait... |

passing shadows, Glad you got a chuckle out of this one. I Take care, Dixie. Sadie Bonnie, What a creative mind you have!!! I would never have thought of taking on the character of the pen or its previous owners. That could be kind of scarrrryyyyy! What would be scarier is to take on the personality of the person who touched a dollar bill the last time before you received it. Lots of imagination thrown out for interesting writing. I dare you to write about it!!!!!! Sadie suthern, Ahhhh, thank you. I did like creating with it, but I wouldn't miss it too much. I like writing on a steno pad with a purple or turquoise pen. Color does something for me. Sometimes, blacks and pinks, as well. Thanks again for your flattering response! Sadie |

Copperbell, I agree totally. There is so much out there to spark an interest. Matter-of-fact, I can't think of a think in the world that can't spart the imagination into writing! ~Sadie~ Magnus, There may still be a few creative thoughts left in the pen, but you may be waiting a lonnnnnnng time before those come out. They come out in increments. I'm really a pretty reserved poetess, only able to share small bits. Thanks for encouraging me, Magnus. I hope someday to be a poet of your standard. Sadie Sunshine, I'm glad you made the rounds again. I always enjoy hearing from you and reading your wonderful poetry. Your words always play on my sensory system. I feel as if I have physically journeyed with your poetry. You have flattered me with your comment. I appreciate your thoughts. Take care. Sadie Enchantress, I'm glad a smile came your way, but it is only fair, as you always make me smile when reading your fine words and imagery. Happy writing to you. Sadie |

I'm glad you like my humor. It's just come about in the last six months or so. Funny what writing does to a person!) |
