For My Love Wordsworth wrote of daffodils, While Kilmer wrote of trees.. And Poe wrote of his Annabel He lost into the seas Their lives were touched, inspired and moved, By beauties pure and real. Their writings still a legacy, So others too may feel The joy that filled their very souls And caused their hearts to soar On days when life’s cruel drudgeries Could leave a rich soul poor. Thou envy once did settle in While reading words so fair, When thinking of those blessed by God With passions ever rare. My life while full was missing still The love of someone kind. That sweet unselfish special love, One always hopes to find. But I am blessed as much as they, That wrote of beauties past. With you who fills my heart with joy And brings it peace at last. For oft when skies are damp and cold And seem the darkest blue, I simply seek a quiet place, And dream sweet thoughts of you |

But I am blessed as much as they, That wrote of beauties past. With you who fills my heart with joy And brings it peace at last. For oft when skies are damp and cold And seem the darkest blue, I simply seek a quiet place, And dream sweet thoughts of you David, this is exactly how my Honey and I both feel for each other. Hugs and Happy Valentines Day, Ethel |
