Perfect Love This morning when I gazed into your eyes, And saw therein a solitary tear, The torment of your hopeless, searching ,cries, Had never seemed so evident or clear. Please know, my sweet, you suffer not alone, What tortures you must torture me as well. For though I may not know the pains you’ve known, Wherever you may suffer there I’ll dwell. And know my dear these words do sorely fail, For words may not convey what hearts may hold. Yet in our perfect love we’ll soon prevail, And leave behind your sorrows to the cold. Embrace with glee these joys we two have sought, And lean upon the strength our love has wrought. |

David, this is very beautiful. I enjoyed reading, though it has a sadness to it. Hugs Ethel |
