Sheer fabric Over a pretty face Still shows through, But conceals the flaws. Flaws that no one sees Until it is too late. Flaws that she herself Does not acknowledge. Unpurified beauty, So angelic; that of hell. Looks are deceiving; She is true example. Her eyes are windows; Look into them deeply... What do you see? Emptiness and insanity? Heartlessness and hatred? Or only the reflection Of yourself looking back? Admiration disfigured Into something putrid. What will come of this Fragile creature When all her hope is lost? Fragmented thoughts; Only memories now. Good times turn to bad. Stinging recollections Of better days. The light no longer brightens, As darkness seems to prevail. She is a prisioner; A wanderer without cause. While the sky turns black Her vails darkens, Leaving nothing to show... No visible flaws... No pain for this World to absorb... She is at peace, But for only this little while; Only until the light comes again.* **To fear love is to fear life, and those who fear life are already three parts dead.** |

This was one of the best that you've written in a little while. I like all of your poetry, but this was an especially beautiful one, in my opinion. Very beautiful write. Nice job. Loves. "I would sleep forever, if it meant I'd never stop dreaming..." |
