Winter Chill Here at Home Winter eyes watch snowflakes die With Season's breath leaving again. Secondhand tears always seem to lie Playing on your cheeks when it can. Winter nights freeze our verbal fights With our breath taken from us again. Shining stars and bright aura lights Spotlight the new beginning and fading end. Winter days slowly fade the night away Taking our worries from the heart again. I'm praying for your eyes to stay Looking down into mine, my beautiful friend. Winter's kiss, one that i already miss, Something just so brief to only want again. I'll ignore what i know to be amiss And press my lips to freeze to yours again. now im alone, but not lonely like before |

now that was beautiful. my god, it was so touching. "Secondhand tears" -such a unique perspective. "I'll ignore what i know to be amiss And press my lips to freeze to yours again." That was just so...beautiful. I'm saving this. I like how it made me feel. ~Lex ![]() |
