angie's fables Ironic how you sing the songs that scream out my emotions, the songs that make you cry were written when i shed my own tears. and you dont know how melted wax does burn flesh, i spilt the candle late last night reading the old stories you told me. at the time, your fables seemed to be so real, you are just a master storyteller, bending love and haet to your will, while you're at it, tug at my heart, make it jump and dive around, make it a fool, make me a fool, the strings are veins and they cant be cut, believe me, i've tried to cut them, ive tried to escape what you're doing, but i wont be clever with myself, im destined to be a puppet and pawn, regret and agony. wont you hide behind my when troubles come so i can protect you, so you can stab my back, carve your name on my lumbar and draw straight up, up to the base of my neck to kiss it. this painful treatment is pure pleaseure for you, so i'll stand and take it like the man i wish i was. i've stopped my tears, i need to conserve energy for more of this, this roll of the dice, this stroke of the knife, this stealing of my life now im alone, but not lonely like before |

this doesn't seems to go with the general flow of the boring poems often in teen. you held my attention with this one. Imagery was great, I love the analogy of the tree. greating writing. ~Lex |
