The shaky, battered door, Shutting again, This time, Forced by cruel hands Darkness encases the room, The dark remains not uncommon here, In this place, Blackness reigns. Among endless abyss of obscurity, Exists a lone picture, That barely survives, Each push the door receives, When the lumber closes The picture evolves to more of a memento, A mere trace of its old self. As black chasm becomes unbearable, Light creeps through slight cracks, Rapidly suffocates, Almost the picture, Life cheated once again, Shadows prevail once more. |
