If only i can cry out all the pain inside cause it's tearing me apart If only i can turn back the hands of time where you had stolen my heart If only i can get one kiss to help me survive an eternity with that moment captured in mind If only I can getone caress of your hand to make me feel the warmth inside If only I can get one whisper from your sweet voice in my ears If only I can get only one hug from you to make me forget all my fears If only I can find myself through the ocean of memories and just live my life If only I can heal the wound in my heart which causes so much pain and strife If only I can close my eyes and just be with you forever If only I can open my eyes and just realize that we can never again be together If only I can forget the feeling I used to get from just one touch If only I can ask for your forgiveness f for loving you too much If only you can tell me that it's going to be ok If only you can tell me that you're coming back to stay If only you had told me how hard it was going to be If only there is a way you can get me out of this misery If only you knew what I was going through Because I am drowning in tears of not being able to forget you Maria |

first off, welcome. your poem was ok, but the rhyming was....blah. try to explore more imagery and such. it was alright though, keep writing and posting!! -alex now im alone, but not lonely like before |

Actually I wrote this 4 years ago and I haven't written anything since then, so excuse my juvenile writing, I just felt like posting something and I did. Thanks for your advice... |
