I have very strong feelings on this as the ones who raised me when my parents weren't around were latina or immigrants. Why? Is it that we still call this the golden land? Even as people are killed blood drips on our sand Blood of innocents, people wishing for another chance A chance our country offers them, we kill them without a second glance Fit to work amongst us, do our labor, but also fit to die That is how we act, that is how we seem, why? Can we still call ourselves, good children of god? Citizens doing our duty, I spit in disgust, hardly law How can we go about our day, not knowing, not caring? Unable to see how badly we handle this, not hearing Pleas by little kids, parents asking for this one thing That they come to our country, while they are barely living My voice is cold, white-hot fury, a disgrace All the great ones in our history, their memory would we erase What they themselves founded, values, ideals hopes, dreams Us on, Children hurting everyday on the streets, yet too scared to scream That our people will come and deny them this new life. Scared, hurt, cheated, offered outrageous claims, strife Is that really the way we want to be? How can we do this? Why What even gives you the idea that this is ok, we are the ones living a lie Pretending to us that it is all ok, it is such an act that, everything is fine What is this? How can we say we help, what liars, long ago have we crossed the line Does our country even care, whose lives each day we touch? I want to spit On those so full of themselves that they think it hardly matters, them I want to hit I swear if I ever, get a chance to repay them for the lives they are trying to ruin, people who ask for a chance to make it right, for them a fight would occur, I would win. If the people who don’t care ever meet me, I will not make it pleasant, oh they will pay. With everything I can get a hold of; I will “help” them understand, change their ways. WHY? CAN WE LET THIS GO ON |

Okay, well… I’m not really sure which innocent lives you think we are killing? Could you maybe explain a little bit more before I offer an opinion? @-->--- |

the military was given orders to shoot any imigrants who cross our borders. and any people sent back into central america are basically being sent to die. |
