This was the first poem I wrote and I'd thought I'd share it with you.It may be too simple and short, but that's why I'm posting it, to get feedback.

A New Journey

What is Death
the beginning or the end
or is it just simply
the beginning of the end

To me it is the latter
for life is a journey
where one makes a map
to the path of their soul

And with this map
one knows the way
to their ultimate utopia
and peace of mind

In heaven one resides
amongst their loves
in an eternal bliss
like a sunkissed lift

Some say darkness
is something to fear
but to me it's a blessing
to welcome with a kiss

I like this a lot. It's very well written and you made good use of the stanzas.
