Valor(I Put My Soul In This Piece)

A soldier raises his flag
Its his soul and his shield
On this stained battle field
He throws a salute to his fellow fallen troops
And never wonders if he'll make it out safe
With a look of duty painted on his face
He looks up at the flag
And says a quick prayer
Then turns to fight for all that is fair

He hears a man scream then comes to his aid
Only to watch as his life fades away
He can only close his eyes
As the tears stream down his face as he cries
He gives a salute to honor this troop
And never looks back as he runs in valor
In the darkest of hours

He never gives up hope in these places
He only thinks of his loved ones faces
And it makes him proud
On this crude battle shroud
To be fighting for his people
His country
His freedom

A soldier raises his flag up high
To fly forever in the freest of skies
