c stands for catastrophe.

far away from home.

centered down hard on the facts,
we did our dance.
oh, we did our dance.
skipping the beats, we formed
an argument,
blessed with breaths too
fragile to bear.

disintegrating to become
small enough
to sleep in your heart,
i tried to make sure you
wouldn’t forget me.
but, intentions wore down,
chipping with the clouds.
and i became only someone
in your still-life
picture frame.

catastrophe stands for the
initials
of your name that i’ve torn
down from this
heart on my sleeve.
and, so far away from home.
i tried breathing and
landed on something that
graced the edges of my skin.
our sin, our sin.

and oh, we danced
that night,
alright. in separate directions
we floated away,
you with a comforting hand
and me with a
bomb in my heart.

You play the song I know.
You are the song I know.

I like what this could imply...that you are unconscious thus less regarded by him perhaps you didn't mean it that way, but its awesome none the less.
